Dr. James Jackson, a Midland native, received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Northwestern University in Chicago, where he was accepted to the Honors Program in Medical Education. He completed ophthalmology residency at Cook County Hospital, and returned to Midland to begin private practice in 1990. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Chris Bigelow, from Grand Blanc, MI, attended college at the University of Michigan, then received his MD degree from the University of Vermont. Following internship at St. John Hospital in Detroit, and Ophthalmology Residency at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY, he joined Dr. Jackson in private practice in Midland in 1994.
